When art students (from left) Spencer Goldade, Kyle Scott and Sean Bigham stopped by Doug's booth at Comic-Con 2008, they were surprised to learn that Doug, too, was Canadian. He lives approximately 80 miles north of Toronto. The three attend the Alberta College of Art + Design; it was their first time attending Comic-Con.(blog entry by Heidi Hutson)
