Movie Studios and TV Networks Gain Prominence at Comic-Con
Over the decades Comic-Con has grown to include exhibits from movie studios and broadcast and cable networks. The annual July convention has become, according to USA Today (July 23, 2009), "a huge media event" so the hours spent setting up exhibits are well worth the effort and expense.
