Doug Takes A Break To Visit with Playmates
Doug was busy all day Saturday, July 25, personalizing copies of Unpublished Sneyd and talking with Comic-Con attendees, many of whom brought in copies of the July-August 2009 issue of Playboy. They asked if he would autograph his cartoon appearing on page 37. He was happy to oblige, and after he learned that copies of the magazine were being distributed free outside the Hard Rock Cafe (across from the San Diego Convention Center in the Gaslamp District), he decided to check it out in person and meet the 2 lovely Playmates promoting the magazine.
Talk about "a Kodak moment" - getting a free copy of the current issue of Playboy and meeting 2 lovely Playmates.
Hundreds waited in line outside of the Hard Rock Cafe - located across the street from the San Diego Convention Center - to get a free copy of the July-August issue of Playboy.
Security kept the long lines orderly.

July 25: Sketches and Prints
Doug met Tom at Comic-Con 3 years ago. He always stops by the booth on preview night to say "hello;" this year Tom purchased two of Doug's winking bunny limited edition prints.

Pierre Bernard, a graphics artist with Conan O'Brien for the past 17 years, stopped by the booth to talk with Doug and buy a personalized copy of Unpublished Sneyd. He said he's enjoyed the move to California and didn't think he'd miss New York City winters at all.
