Doug's first effort at political cartooning was a single panel titled Doug Sneyd; it debuted in the early 1970s in the Toronto Star and was soon syndicated internationally.Some topics never seem dated; with U.S. voters going to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 4, to elect a President, running for political office is a timely topic - as it was with readers of this Doug Sneyd cartoon from 1972.
