Fans of Doug's Playboy cartoons, to this day, tell him the 248-page hardcover book, published in 2011, is great. It was a positive experience working with Dark Horse Books and his editor Freddye (Lins) Miller. She was especially creative in selecting both the cartoons for the 11-themed chapters and the design of the cover and book jacket.
A good example of her attention-to-detail was reviewing Doug's 450+ Playboy cartoons and selecting the brunette - from the November 1979 (p. 143) issue - to highlight on the spine of the book jacket.
