Nominees for 2012 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards were announced Wednesday, April 4; The Art of Doug Sneyd, published by Dark Horse Comics, was one of five nominees in the Best Humor Publication category.
Ballots with this year's nominees will go out mid-April to comics creators, editors, publishers and retailers; the results in all categories will be announced in an awards ceremony Friday evening, July 13 at Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.
The Eisner Awards, described as the Oscar Awards of the Comics Industry, were named for comics creator Will Eisner to highlight "the best publications and creators in comics and graphic novels."
Doug is again exhibiting at SDCC July 11-15 with Big Wow Art; he'll be happy to personalize copies of The Art of Doug Sneyd for attendees during the 5-day SDCC, the largest comics-cartoon convention in North America.
