Personalizing Copies of Unpublished Sneyd - See the Process!

In the years since Doug's first cartoon was published in Playboy - September 1964, he has submitted thousands of cartoon gag roughs. Of course, not all can be selected for final art and ultimate publication in the magazine.

Unpublished Sneyd, now in its second printing, features 100 of Doug's favorite unpublished gag roughs - the best of the undiscovered Sneyds.

Visit http://www.dougsneyd.com/ for information on ordering a personalized copy, featuring a B & W profile sketch of a classic Sneyd girl-next-door with bunny ears on the Introduction Page.

Copies are $25.00, plus $5.00 S/H to U.S. and Canadian addresses.

Doug is happy to personalize each book - "To Artur with every good wish from Doug."

Artwork on the Introduction Page begins with a quick red pencil sketch.

Doug then begins to "sweeten" the sketch.

More details in pencil are added and the sketch is refined.

It's now time to finish the sketch using an ultra fine point Sharpie.

Doug gives his girl-next-door a final flair!

Before writing "best wishes," Doug adds his stylized signature.

Every copy of Unpublished Sneyd ordered though the website or sold at a comic-cartoon convention features an original Sneyd classic girl-next-door!

Doug's first convention for 2012 is WonderCon March 16-18 in Anaheim, California.
