Doug and I first talked with Joan Steacy at Fan Expo Canada 2009; she and husband Ken (from Victoria, British Columbia) were also set up in Artist Alley. This year, she wanted to have Doug do a sketch of her in Unpublished Sneyd. While talking with Joan, she mentioned that she and Ken were living in Ontario now because he was teaching 2 classes this fall - Cinematic Storytelling and Drawing Props, Structures and Backgrounds - at Max the Mutt Animation School in Toronto.
