Working on Final Art for the April 4-5 Emerald City ComiCon in Seattle

Working on the final art, Doug gives finishing touches to the bunny ears. He uses Dr. Ph. Martin's Synchromatic Transparent Watercolor on Peterboro HI-ART, Made in Canada, Watercolor Board. The surface is 100% rag by Arches of France.

And apparently receieved an LCBO gift box that he uses for a paint brush holder. Looking at the board Doug is working on I'm curious if this is the size of page he usually works?

The original artwork for the Seattle show is, indeed, smaller - 10.5 x 14.5. Board size for Doug's Playboy cartoon finishes is generally 13.5 x 17.5

Perceptive that you recognized the gift box. It works quite nicely when packing up brushes for our trip to the Gulf Coast to escape the Canadian winter.

Best, Heidi
