In addition to being a regular contributor to major Canadian and U.S. magazines and newspapers, Doug's artwork has appeared in over 60 children's books, including four poetry books by Lola Sneyd - no relation to Doug.Doug's ink drawing, pictured here, accompanied the opening poem, titled "Toronto - 3,000,000 and Growing," in The Concrete Giraffe, a 64-page book published in 1984.
