It's always great to keep up with friends: Doug and I first met Toronto artists Bobby Chiu (Creative Director) and Kei Acedera (Art Director) on a flight from Toronto to San Diego in 2007 to attend SDCC.
We've stayed in touch over the years and were so happy that Nikko and the Sword of Light, which began as an independently produced animated comic book app at Imaginism Studios, was the winner for Outstanding Children's Animated Program at the 43rd annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
Congrats to our friends, Bobby and Kei!!!
