Personalized Pencil Sketches at Dallas Comic Con

Doug always uses Arches of France cold press paper/art board for convention pencil sketches, including those he did at the May 19-20 Dallas Comic Con.

Although Lana, a first time DCC attendee from Dallas, spent a lot of time waiting in line to meet Stan Lee, she had Doug do an 11 x 17 pencil sketch.

Brittany, also a first time DCC attendee from Dallas, commissioned Doug to do an 11 x 17 pencil sketch as a birthday gift for herself.

Nicole (from Dallas) regularly attends DCC.

Jackie (from Houston) said her pencil sketch would be a great DCC souvenir.

Jennifer (from Dallas) came with friends for Saturday's DCC panels and guests.

Belinda commissioned a 10 x 14 pencil sketch; she and her husband also attended the Saturday evening, May 19 Live Art & Auction Event benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

Doug donated 2 limited edition prints and an original ink sketch to the auction, which raised a little more than $11,000.00. It was held at the Aloft Las Colinas Hotel from 8 p.m. to midnight.

This was Jackie's second year attending the DCC; she lives in Arlington, Texas.
