The annual fundraiser for CAPS (Comic Art Professional Society) will host a benefit auction on August 25 in Burbank, California to support veteran comics artists Russ Heath and Ralph Reese.
Contributors to the benefit auction include Jack Davis, Ernie Chan, Al Jaffee, Nick Park, Jeff Smith, Doug Sneyd, Dan Spiegle, William Stout, Mick Gray, Angelo Torres, Stan Lee, Dean Yeagle, Sergio Aragones and Russ Heath himself.
Sergio Aragones, one of CAPS' founders and MAD Magazine cartoonist, will be the auctioneer for the event; proceeds are used for CAPS' activities and assisting individuals from the comic art community who are experiencing serious financial difficulties.
