Chalk Artist Creates Larger-Than-Life Murals

C2E2 attendees had a great chance to see and talk with chalk artist Eric Maruscak, who creates super-sized murals of comics, anime and video game characters. He had 3 days to work on the C2E2 program cover featuring artwork by Alex Ross.

Around the perimeter of his work area, he showed examples of other work he's done around the country - most were commissioned by corporate sponsors of comic-cartoon conventions.

I'd like to thank you for all of the coverage on your blog of my chalk art. It is an honor to have such an amazing cartoonist (whose work I greatly admire) to take the time to write about and share my work with his vast group of fans.

I hope to see you at a future show soon, and REALLY hope I can get a little time to make it out of my "cell" to come over for a visit.
