Doug first met Imaginism Studios president Bobby Chiu and art director Kei Acedera at the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con and then again at the April 18-20, 2008, New York Comic-Con.Both Bobby and Kei urged Doug to participate in Fan Expo Canada; Doug's exhibit that weekend was across the aisle from theirs. After the show closed Sunday night, Bobby also organized a great dinner for a number of the artists.
Everyone enjoyed the camaraderie after a successful convention weekend.
