Julie and Kendis Get Unpublished Sneyd as Fan Expo Canada Souvenirs

While Doug was sketching Julie (from Toronto), she told him it was her first time visiting Fan Expo Canada. We hope she enjoys her personalized copy of Doug's 52-page book Unpublished Sneyd.

Kendis and husband Patrick came in from Calgary to attend Fan Expo Canada; like Julie, the 3-day convention was her first. In fact, she's only been to one other comic-cartoon convention - the one in Calgary!

Doug Sketches Exhibiting Artist Joan Steacy

Doug and I first talked with Joan Steacy at Fan Expo Canada 2009; she and husband Ken (from Victoria, British Columbia) were also set up in Artist Alley. This year, she wanted to have Doug do a sketch of her in Unpublished Sneyd.

While talking with Joan, she mentioned that she and Ken were living in Ontario now because he was teaching 2 classes this fall - Cinematic Storytelling and Drawing Props, Structures and Backgrounds - at Max the Mutt Animation School in Toronto.
